The Smart Data Forum deals with questions of Smart Data within applications, technical challenges and demands of the society. It supports the exchange between experts and informs society and international guests about new trends and developments in this field of research.



The Smart Data Forum is a demonstration and experience space for smart data solutions as well as a place for networking on European and international level, sponsored by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy and supported by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research. The SDF supports the transfer of knowledge with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as well as Start-Ups. Installations show innovative Smart Data solutions and their impact on the economy, on science and simply on daily life. Due to different events, meetings and workshops it supports the exchange with diverse research partners and stakeholders in science, economy and politics.

Actual developments are shown through demonstrators, prototypes and other applications using interactive media.

Smart Data Forum Berlin
An exhibition area including a presentation scope, which is available for stakeholders and initiatives for external events related to Smart Data. Don’t hesitate to contact us!

Smart Data for small and medium-sized businesses
A national roadshow presents information and best practices for enterprises. The Forum is partner of the initiative „Smarter Mittelstand – Digitalisierung 4.0“ which has six roadshow stations. For the next dates please look at www.smartdataforum.de.

Smart Data made in Germany – international
Due to international presence and exchange, research results can be presented in Europe and worldwide. International roadshows in the USA, the Arabian and Asian Area are presenting research projects, technologies and products.
